Cerclos eTool v5.39.0 Released with Key Enhancements

Cerclos is excited to announce the release of eTool v5.39.0, introducing improvements that help users analyse results more clearly, move faster through design scenarios, and stay aligned with the latest industry standards.

EPD Impact Display

The EPD Impact tab has been redesigned for quick review of an EPD’s total and life cycle module impacts. Impact grids now display actual values instead of percentages for greater precision.

Targeted Indicators

Users can now set reporting indicator scope at the project level. Design and structure analysis charts reflect these settings, and Impact Summary dropdowns show only indicators relevant to the project. Watch the video demo below:

Scenario Processing

For larger or more complex scenarios, users can temporarily disable impact calculations to speed up workflows. Projects can also opt out of background processing when immediate results are needed. Watch the video demo below:

Updated Default LCI Material Factors

UI Terminology

The “Dialogue” menu item has been renamed “Messages” in the main menu for easier access to in-app communications.

Construction Waste and Recycled Content factors for eTool Default LCI materials now align with RICS WLCA PS 2E assumptions. Existing projects and custom templates are not affected, and all default public templates will be updated within the week. More details are available in the support post: Default Construction Waste Factors & Recycled Content in eTool

Circularity Calculation

The Material Circularity Index (MCI) now incorporates recycled content data where available, providing a more accurate reflection of material circularity.
